Pros: Granite is a natural stone it’s beauty cannot be replicated by man, it holds up to heat and scratching better than other countertop materials. Granite provides colors and patterns that you cannot find in any of the other products being offered today.

Cons: Granite is a natural product that will require periodic sealing of the surface and may contain natural fissures, fills and small pits in the surface of the material. Granite is More likely to chip than a quartz countertop and must have supports if you have an overhang over 6”.
